Workout Juice Recipe


This juice combination is the perfect balance of sodium and potassium to help prevent the build-up of lactic acid and cramps after a good workout, as well as replacing natural salts lost from sweating.

The taste is sour, slightly sweet and salty, one of my favorite juices.


  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 green apples
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1/2 lemon

Juicing Time: 2 mins
Juice Qty: 900 ml

Apple A Day Juice Recipe



  • Cut in half or chunks to fit down the chute 
  • Juice with skin on


  • Remove the stems and remove any stickers
  • Juice apples whole with skin and seeds.
  • Cut in half or quarters if too big to fit into the wide chute.


  • Chop into small pieces (5cm) across the stalks to cut the long stringy fibre
  • You can juice the leaves if you like the bitter taste otherwise discard


  • Remove stickers and cut off any hard end points
  • Slice lemons into rounds with skin on to give more flavour and get more juice from each lemon.


An easy juice to make in any order or combination.

I started with cucumber as it is the softest ingredient then I added the celery one handful at a time.

Next I juiced the whole apples and finished with the lemon slices.


Tip: this combination is also good for arthritis sufferers as it helps reduce acidity in the body. The juice will stay fresh for 3-4 days so make up a big batch!
