The two-litre hopper is the defining feature of the AUTO8. Rather than feeding every ingredient through a chute individually, you can load a prepared recipe into the hopper, close the lid and allow the cutting and feeding system to guide the produce into the juicing chamber.

Some produce may still need to be peeled, deseeded or cut to suit the recipe and help ingredients move freely. Avoid tightly packing the hopper, and cut very large, curved, hard or fibrous ingredients into manageable pieces.

The AUTO8 includes a sorbet strainer as standard, adding more versatility without requiring an additional attachment.

For frozen desserts, prepare fruit in suitable pieces and allow extremely hard frozen ingredients to soften slightly before processing.
For nut butter, use appropriately prepared roasted nuts and follow the Kuvings demonstration video for the recommended preparation, feeding method and number of passes. Depending on the nuts and preferred consistency, the mixture may need to be processed more than once.
Cleaning and care
- Rinse all removable parts promptly after juicing before pulp has time to dry.
- Remove any remaining produce from the hopper.
- Use the supplied brush under running water to help clean the fine strainer.
- Brush both sides of the strainer mesh and inspect it for trapped fibres.
- Clean around the juice spout, pulp outlet and narrow areas.
- Pay particular attention after juicing celery, herbs and leafy greens.
- Hand wash removable components in warm water with mild dishwashing liquid.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, harsh chemicals and very hot water.
- Wipe the motor base with a soft, damp cloth only; never immerse it in water.
- Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling or storing.
- Clean the sorbet strainer promptly after making frozen desserts or nut butter.
- Check the silicone seals and pulp flap regularly to ensure they are clean and correctly positioned.
- Deep clean occasionally if staining or mineral build-up appears.
