How to Juice a Whole Bunch of Celery in One Go with the Kuvings AUTO10 Plus

Fresh celery juice has become a popular morning ritual for many people who want a simple, clean and refreshing way to start the day. But if you have juiced celery before, you will know it can sometimes feel like a slow process.

Washing the stalks, chopping them, feeding them into the juicer one by one, waiting for each piece to go through — it can take time, especially if you are making celery juice every morning.

In this video from Kuvings Healthy Kitchen, Gary demonstrates how to juice a whole bunch of celery in one go using the Kuvings AUTO10 Plus Cold Press Juicer. The big difference is the large hopper with the extension attachment, which allows you to prepare the celery, load it into the machine, press start, and let the juicer do the work.

Why the AUTO10 Plus Makes Celery Juicing Easier

Gary explains that he has been drinking celery juice every morning for a long time and has used many different juicers over the years. Traditionally, celery often needs to be fed into a juicer stalk by stalk, or chopped into smaller handfuls and added gradually.

With the AUTO10 Plus, the process becomes much easier.

The large hopper means you can fit an entire bunch of prepared celery into the juicer at once. Once the celery is loaded, the machine can juice it hands-free, giving you time to clean up or get on with other things in the kitchen.

For anyone who juices celery regularly, this is a real time-saver. It turns celery juicing from something that can feel repetitive into a much simpler morning habit.

Step 1: Top and Tail the Celery

The first tip Gary shares is to top and tail the celery.

Celery is usually cut at both ends before it is sold. These cut ends can start to dry out or decay, so Gary recommends trimming them off before juicing. This helps keep the juice fresh and clean.

He also checks the celery stalks for any brown, damaged or decaying pieces and removes them before washing.

This is a simple step, but it makes a difference to the quality of the final juice.

Step 2: Remove the Leaves

Celery leaves can be juiced, but Gary does not recommend using them in this recipe because they can taste quite bitter.

He also points out that if you are not using organic celery, the leaves can be harder to clean properly. For a cleaner, smoother-tasting celery juice, he removes the leaves and focuses on juicing the stalks.

This helps create a fresher, more pleasant flavour.

Step 3: Wash the Celery Well

Once the celery has been trimmed and the leaves removed, Gary places the stalks into a sink of water and gives them a good clean.

He explains that some people may choose to use apple cider vinegar, bicarbonate of soda or a natural vegetable wash. In the video, he keeps it simple and uses water to remove dirt and residue from the celery.

The goal is to make sure the stalks are clean before they go into the juicer.

Step 4: Spin Off the Excess Water

One of Gary’s practical tips is to avoid putting too much wash water into the juice.

After rinsing the celery, he chops it into smaller pieces and places it into a large salad spinner. This removes the excess water, helping to keep the final juice as pure celery juice rather than diluted celery water.

It is a clever step that many people may not think about, especially if they are juicing first thing in the morning.

Step 5: Chop the Celery into 3–4cm Pieces

Gary then chops the celery into pieces roughly 3–4cm wide.

This makes it easier to fit more celery into the hopper and helps the machine process it efficiently. Instead of long stalks sticking out or taking up too much space, the shorter pieces settle neatly into the large AUTO10 Plus hopper.

This preparation step is quick, but it allows the whole bunch of celery to fit into the machine in one go.

Step 6: Load the Whole Bunch into the AUTO10 Plus

Once the celery is washed, trimmed, chopped and spun dry, Gary loads the entire bunch into the AUTO10 Plus.

This is the key moment in the video.

The large hopper allows the whole batch of celery to go in at once. There is no need to stand over the machine feeding each stalk by hand. Gary simply loads the celery, turns on the juicer, and lets it do the work.
