Stronger, Eco-friendly ULTEM screw

This long and narrow section initially cuts the ingredients and guides towards the lower section. ULTEM is a safe, Eco-friendly material that is durable enough to be used for aircraft and medical equipment. ULTEM is used in the juicing screw and the strainer of Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer.

The wider section squeezes the ingredients against the strainer wall as it gets pushed downwards. The space between strainer wall and the juicing screw gets thinner towards the bottom; this design, paired with a very power motor, guarantees the highest yield.

  8. Question

    Glenda

I am very interested in the B8000 domestic cold press juicer, especially after reading the Choice analysis.
I have one question. Is it recommended for juicing an orange? If so, would it be necessary to remove all the skin and pith to avoid the juice tasting bitter?

Something wrong with this post? Thanks for letting us know. If you can point us in the right direction...

    • Admin Kuvings

Hi Glenda, The juicer can juice oranges well. We always recommend to peel the skin and leave the pith, as there is a lot of nutrition in the pitch. The juicer can juice the oranges with the skin but it is not recommended because it will taste bitter.

Can you please tell me does the B8000 juicer have the same size large augur as the Optimun 600. I am looking for a new juicer that can easily handle carrots without having to cut them small

I am wanting to make celery juice, my current one clogs up. Will this juicer juice it easily

    • Kuvings

Hi, when juicing celery stalks with a cold press juicer the key is to cut across the stalks in small pieces (the width of you thumb) before juicing the celery. You can then juice the celery one handful at a time. Let the juicer juice each handful before adding more celery. All our juicers can easily juice celery without getting clogged when you follow this juicing method.

    • Kuvings

Hi, you can make almond milk with the juicer you don’t need to use the sorbet maker. The sorbet maker is for making desserts using frozen fruits.

    • Admin Kuvings

The Kuvings has a powerful 3 horsepower motor that will juice carrots easily.

With carrots if you purchase the thinner carrots they go straight in. With the massive carrots you cut them lengthways down the middle. The best juice comes when you don’t use small pieces of carrots as the machine will be overloaded and the juice quality is lower.

The Auger is large and all our machines are very similar, it is more about the motor and gearbox. The B8000 has the same motor and gearbox as the C7000 professional juicer.

So it does easily handle carrots, thanks.
