Cucumber Soother Juice Recipe
Description and Health Benefits
This juice helps to sooth a sore throat but you don’t need to wait till then to enjoy the cooling nature of this refreshing juice.
Drinking cucumber juice helps treat kidney and bladder infections. Consuming whole cucumbers or the juice cools most other inflammatory or heat conditions, including stomach inflammation, conjunctivitis, sore throat, acne, and inflamed skin diseases. Hence the saying cool as a cucumber.
You probably reach for a glass of orange juice when you get the sniffles. That is good, but maybe you should consider pineapple juice instead. It has vitamin C like its orange cousin, but it also has bromelain, which helps suppress coughs and loosens the mucus that often accompanies colds.
As mentioned before this juice is very beneficial for sore throats, tonsillitis and laryngitis. It has a soothing effect on the throat.
The addition of fresh sage leaves adds a powerful antiseptic and a traditional remedy for throat and lung conditions.
